Step 1

FERPA Training

If you have not completed the FERPA Training module in ULearn within the last 12 months, start here.  Log into ULearn with single-sign on, and search for "FERPA Training".

CaneLink/Navigate Access Form

Complete the CaneLink/Navigate Security Access Request Form

Step 3

Submit the Form

Email the completed form to help@miami.edu. UMIT will initiate the process where the Office of the University Registrar will confirm FERPA training completion, and UMIT will grant the access.  Every individual user must submit their own completed form in order to process.

For supervisors of student staff such as tutors and peer mentors, contact Learning Platforms for the process.
